Gone are the days of dramatic makeovers and “frozen faces.” Today’s approach to aesthetic treatments is all about subtle enhancements that celebrate your natural beauty. This trend reflects a growing desire for procedures that leave you looking refreshed and revitalized, rather than drastically altered. What Drives the Desire for Natural Results? There are several factors behind this shift: The Rise of Social Media: With the constant barrage of filtered selfies and edited images, people are seeking treatments that enhance their natural features without appearing artificial. Focus on Prevention: There’s a growing interest in preventative aesthetics, aiming to address concerns like fine lines and wrinkles early on for a more subtle, age-defying effect. Customization is Key: Experienced aesthetic professionals understand that a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work. They tailor treatment plans to each patient’s unique features and goals. How to Achieve a Natural Look: Open Communication: During your consultation, discuss your desired outcome with your doctor. Be clear about wanting subtle enhancements that maintain your natural appearance. Less is More: Start with Continue Reading
Aesthetic treatments that work well together
Did you know that you can get a combination of various aesthetic treatments in one session? Before your consultation with your doctor at the aesthetics clinic, you most likely would have done your research and have an idea of which treatment you would like to get. 4 ways to minimize the appearance of large pores
3 reasons why you may have larger pores: 1. Genetics The size of your pores may be genetic. Hence, if your parents have large pores, you are most likely to have large pores as well. 2. Not Protecting Your Skin From UV Exposure When you do not apply sunscreen regularly, you are exposing your skin to the Sun’s Ultraviolet (UV) rays. Hormones, Oily Skin and Clogged Pores During and sometimes after puberty, hormones may cause sebaceous glands to produce more oil. An overproduction of oil can result in clogged pores and acne, which makes pores appear larger. How to reduce the appearance of large pores? 1. Build a Good Skin Care Regimen Not all skincare products will work for everyone. However, it Continue Reading

I Looked Better After Giving Birth And Science May Be The Reason
Well, I might have lied a little. I hated my body postpartum. Having gained a massive 20 kilograms during each of my 2 pregnancies, I didn’t fit well into my regular clothes anymore, even though theoretically I should, since I was back to my pre-pregnancy weight. My skin was dull-looking after I stopped breastfeeding, but the worst was losing so much hair so quickly. 6 months and several treatments later, I am finally back! Here’s what I did. 1. GLOW ON Thanks to post-pregnancy hormones, sleep deprivation and absolutely no time for taking care of my skin, I got the new-mum dull and grey complexion. Surprisingly, there are not many skin treatments tailored for pregnant and new mums, but I found my gem at the SW1 Clinic. Their Full Bloom program is designed to revive dull and lacklustre complexions with pregnancy and breast-feeding-safe treatments, such as the Sciton Forever Young BBL which revived my dull skin within one session! 2. SHAPING UP Pregnancy does change our body shape Continue Reading
