I am not fat, but I have always had issues with my not-so-flat belly. In my mind, there are 3 types of bellies in the world. The first of two extremes being the rock hard, washboard beaten abs, and the other being the super soft Winnie The Poo pooch. But the most punished of all abs would have to be my kind of abs – the neither fat-nor-nothing kind of abs. The plague of the not-so-flat belly is very real. You see, if I had the abs of Victoria Secret babe Karlie Kloss, or Lily Aldrige, I would be able to pick any bodycon favourite and carry it off with style and with confidence. On the other hand, if I were Homer Simpson, wearing baggy clothes all the time would not draw strange looks because that is the norm for fat people – there is nothing to see. Dealing with Problem Fat In the land of nowhere, most people are generally both skinny and fat. They are skinny or slim Continue Reading

What you can do to look amazing in a decade’s time
Women will do anything to look young, revealed a recent study. Just what is this obsession with youth and how should we go about to ensure we look younger than we feel? Research shows that there are in fact two distinct types of aging, intrinsic and extrinsic aging. Intrinsic aging, also known as the natural aging process, is a continuous process that normally begins in our mid-20s. Collagen production slows down and turnover of new skin cells may start to decrease. Genes control how quickly the normal aging process unfolds. While these changes usually begin in our 20s, the signs of intrinsic aging like wrinkles, sagging skin etc may not be visible for years. For extrinsic aging, a number of external factors like UV rays from sun exposure, repetitive facial expressions, gravity, smoking etc, often act together with the normal aging process to prematurely age our skin. Don’t wait until it’s too late to start on your journey to more youthful skin as if you start early to maintain the Continue Reading
Is Filler Fusion The Latest Underground Treatment?
BY LISA WILLIAMS Many people have talked about getting fillers done, some with better results than others. Recently, I came across a new take on an old procedure called “Filler Fusion”. This off-the-menu treatment involves not just one type of filler for the face but a composite of several different natural hyaluronic acid fillers as well as collagen stimulators on the face to achieve a youthful yet natural uplifted look. I have very sensitive skin (thanks to my half korean parentage) and unfortunately not the best of both worlds from my ancestors. I am beginning to show some signs of ageing around my eyes and mouth, and desperately keen for some refresher without over going the way of the Continue Reading
